In the context of EGU2013 - European Geosciences Union General Assembly, 07 – 12 April 2013, a DRIHM2US Meeting has been organized on the April 12. The aim was to enable an open discussion about DRIHM2US and SCIHM projects cooperation with a special focus on the next steps/deliverables.

Agenda of the meeting:

  • DRIHM2US Expert Networking Session ToR (from DRIHM2US Work Package 3) – A review of the DRIHM2US terms of reference for the collaboration with particular attention to tasks, deadlines and resources;
  • SCIHM ToR – A review of the collaborative tasks as outlined in the SCIHM project documents;
  • Comparative analysis of the different approaches underlying the organization of e-infrastructure for Hydro-meteo research in Europe and in the US, in particular Geospatial cataloguing interoperability; Data and Model integration; Web processing Service Compatibility;
  • Assessment of options for the organizational setup: Publicly available information about the setup of other comparable organizations will be combined with information obtained from personal contacts to identify the different requirements and options for a post project organizational setup;
  • WRF-HYDRO and Continuum interoperability exercise.
